The Post Cabin

This new fairy house was a re-model!  I was asked to "fairy-ize" this log cabin bought in a local garden store for one of my parents gardens.  It was installed this weekend and fit the landscape perfectly!  This the first house where I knew electricity was an option so I added a very small strand of lights and what a magical effect it created at night!  Enjoy the tour of "The Post Cabin."

"The Post Cabin" re-modeled and in it's new home.

A new moss roof, pine cones, acorns & honeycomb trim.

A very tall ladder leading to the new porch was made with sticks & moss.

Care for a swing on the tire swing anyone?

The front door is framed with some feathers and you can see the wood sofa that sits along one wall.

This tin Altoid bed is filled with moss & feathers.

Don't you just want to sit on this front porch?

Two acorn sconces flank the front door and a branch from an Aspen tree Mom brought back from Idaho rests above the door.

Mom loves hearts so I made a heart shaped welcome mat out of moss.

This little sign sits at the base of the house near the ladder.

A view at night.

Good night!

Amelia and little Patty coming in for a closer look.

Has anyone moved in yet?
