The Cinnamon Stick House

It's D.O.N.E.

Please take the time to tour "The Cinnamon Stick" Fairy Dollhouse!  I photographed this today at my parents home...which has about a million great locations, but the majestic setting on the rocks above the goldfish pond was just perfect!  This house is very tiny in scale, but will be so easy to play with because there is a "hidden" door on the left side of the house which opens it up beautifully.  Enjoy the tour and go to the finished houses tab to read it's official listing.  It will be on Etsy soon!

Is that a sweeping view or what?

I added the Terra Cotta window boxes which look great against the original yellow color of the house.

The window boxes are filled w/ Spanish Moss, pine cones & baby's breath!

The "secret side door" opens the house up to the first two floors.

Attic kids room & play room!  Altoid tins make cozy little beds.

The seed pod ceiling fans will help when that hot air rises!

Even fairy children want a snack when they do homework.  Feather pen & ink well w/ pieces of paper in a wooden tray complete the desk.

Second Floor with a rope ladder to get to the attic.

My kids are just dying over the roll of toilet paper!

The shower head is made from a salt shaker top and the shower curtain from an old bangle bracelet.

I love the twigs surrounding the mirror and there is water in the sink!

This broom made of deer hair rests on the coat rack behind the staircase near the front door.

Going up?  The tin rooster came from my old kitchen clock!

This house did not have a fireplace so I added a stone one in the living room.

There's the pixie dust on the mantle.

Here you can see the side door is open!

The window seat & bookcase is my favorite part of the house.

Ah, the kitchen!  Complete w/ Candy Canes, Breads, acorn bowls, etc,

Terrace Moss is Finished!

Introducing Terrace Moss.....This one should prove interesting to ship because of the width & weight of the base....but I had to use it!  Enjoy!  Please go to the Outdoor Houses Gallery to read it's write up!

New Outdoor House Under Construction

I started this house before I left for vacation....the log platform it sits on has quite a wing span.  No name yet, but I must have been thinking about relaxing because the hammock idea came the night before I left!  Enjoy the sneak peek!

Caribbean Inspiration

Oh, what a 7 day cruise throughout the Caribbean (without your children) will do to re-fresh the batteries and inspire your imagination.  My very generous parents took my brother and I and our spouses aboard the Sea Dream Yacht last week.  I needed all that on board pampering after hours of combing the beach & diving for shells, beach glass, coral, and a variety of island seed pods & grasses.  I'm so excited that I made it through customs with my treasures from St. Barts, Nevis, Anguilla, St. John's, Virgin Gorda , Puerto Rico & St. Martin and I can't wait to do my first tropical island inspired Fairy House.  Grab a Pina Colada and stay tuned for a new look!
