The Wee Shamrock

"Slainte!"  Good food, good friends and good fairy fun are to be had at The Wee Shamrock a traditional "fairy-ized" Irish Pub.  This OOAK fairy establishment will be on sale at the Whimsical Properties booth at the Irish Festival on June 16th in Shrewsbury, PA.  As the Irish blessing above the bar says, "May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow and may trouble avoid you wherever you go."

Please check out the Decorative Fairy House Gallery Page to read the new & improved MLS listing on this property.

Cheers!

The pub is built out of a green iron bird cage and mounted on a round slab of walnut. The roof is covered in shamrocks & moss.

Here is a view from a distance to better see it's "wee" size.

Custom hand engraved signage

Here is a little peek at the inside.  The front door has an Irish carved heart door knob.

All the inside furnishings were made from re-claimed barn wood.  Antique perfume bottles are filled with spirits, the cash register is ready, the acorn wine glasses & wooden beer mugs hang from above and the Shepard's Pie is cooling.

What would ANY Irish pub be without Guinness & Harp on tap?

The locals here are known for the nightly competitive game of checkers.

The outdoor tables are a great place for dining or just having drinks.  Tables are wood and the stools are champagne corks.

This Irish Blessing hangs inside near the bar.

An old wine jut sits atop the shelf.

Here shamrocks preserved from a long ago St. Patrick's Day rest against a basket of flowers.

The sandwiches here are good, but the fish-n-chips are the specialty of the house.  Daily specials are printed on the chalkboard to the right of the bar.

A view of an outdoor table set for dinner.  Love the mismatched green linens.

Wanna meet for a drink later?
